How to download videos from various websites like (***tube)

Downloading videos from various sites have proven to be very tedious, especially from U-tube(intentional), but well there must definitely be a way around it which i think is what sharing.

 This post is for the very fact that internet connection sometimes can be very frustrating in my area, and i know for so many around me, its same for them, and the cost of subscription to stream videos also is very high. So the owners of the sites with videos should be with us for downloading their videos.

Also note that i will not be liable for any unnecessary or redundant files that may be downloaded to your system.

There may be very many ways to go around downloading from various sites as facebook, youtube, and other sites but i will just tell you about 2 sure ways i have tested, and still use:

METHOD 1:
Using the savefrom.net site.
To do this:
a. simply edit the youtube video link or url, by removing the https://www from the youtube video link, and pre-pend ss to the remaining part of the link, and this should redirect you to the savefrom.net website.

Example:
edit the youtube video link from:
 https://www.utube.com/watch?v=g3j7eRunzv4list=PLKlA1QwYBcmdCQPRN9IcRHEh1w5yC8djY

to:
ssutube.com/watch?v=g3j7eRunzv4&list=PLKlA1QwYBcmdCQPRN9IcRHEh1w5yC8djY

and then go to the site, and continue from there.

Or copy the video link, and visit savefrom.net and paste in the link in the search box you will see there, and then press enter to get the video, and then select the quality of video you wish to download.

N/B: This method applies for any site you wish to download from.

METHOD 2 (firefox based approach):
i. This method is quite simple, all you have to do is to just download and install ant downloader addon into your browser ( firefox specifically).
AntDownloader  addon can be downloaded from here.

ii. Next visit the website you wish to download  the video from, and ensure the video is playing in your browser, and then click on the antDownloader addon on your browser as below:
